I have been writing stories for more than five years now, first in German, nowadays almost exclusively in English.
I used to shy away from short stories but ever since recently, I've taken a liking to this kind of prose, one motive being that they are quicker to finish though more challenging to write.
So, what kind of stories do I write? I don't stick to any particular genre although I prefer non-fantasy stories based on real life / current times. Among my stories, you can find some science-fiction, some emotional prose, some stories based on authentic experiences or real-life happenings as well as some ventures into the genre of modern mystery.
At present, I'm working on various stories:
- a book for children with stories based around a crow growing up in Sri Lanka, so far titled Kamal the Kaka
- short stories circling around the topic TIME in order to collect them in a book of 20 stories
- a (fictional) novel about life, love and destiny with the working title "Half here, half there" (simultaneously in English and German)
Actually, there is no moment in my life when my head is not full of ideas for some kind of story and I have so much more in my head that I want to put on paper/onto the computer.
I am open for commissions in writing, i.e. if you have some topic in mind that you would love to have a story of for whatever purposes, you can contact me and I will most probably accept your offer and write for you.
Rules for written commissions:
- there has to be a written contract between you (as the client) and me (as the author) with agreements about payment and other terms and conditions
- you have to credit me officially and plainly visible as the author of the story if you publish it in any form
- I will not write a whole book for you, only a short story or possibly a series of short stories
I am not only interested in fictional writing (i.e. stories of any kind) but also in non-fictional writing. I liked composing essays at school and I like expressing my opinion in blogs or articles. Writing columns for an online magazine on daily-life issues or a topic I'm interested in has always been a dream of mine, one not come true yet.
Hence, I am also open for non-fictional written commissions. The same rules as above apply, so contact me if you are in need of someone to write...

- articles for your website, magazine, newspaper etc...
